The upper limb trauma amputation hemostasis model is a simulation tool specifically designed for surgical first aid teaching and skills training. It can realistically reproduce the scenes of upper limb trauma bleeding and amputation, helping trainees master the key points of on-site hemostasis and first aid operations. Its operation norms mainly include the following aspects:

First of all, in the simulation training, the bleeding situation should be quickly evaluated to confirm the location of the wound and the amount of bleeding. Then select an appropriate hemostasis method: If it is small blood vessel bleeding, the direct compression bandaging method can be used; If it is severe bleeding, a tourniquet should be used, placed near the heart of the wound and the binding time should be recorded.

When performing the operation, the wound should first be covered with gauze or dressings, and then pressure bandaging should be carried out to ensure that the pressure is sufficient to stop bleeding but does not cause excessive damage to the tissue. If a tourniquet is needed, it should be properly tied and fixed, and the time control should be strictly followed to avoid limb necrosis due to prolonged compression.

During the training process, trainees also need to pay attention to the preservation method of the severed limb. The severed limb should be wrapped and placed in a low-temperature environment to facilitate subsequent replantation surgery. Through repeated operation and practice of this model, medical staff can become familiar with the emergency rescue process and enhance their practical ability to deal with severe upper limb trauma and bleeding from amputated limbs.
